Raw oyster is really Raw?

Maybe its only me, but has anyone noticed that is easier to craft raw oyster with skillet than with knives?.... well raw oyster you should open it with a knive and add lemmon and.... eat it raw.... why it is even craftable with a skillet? i guess the moton should change to our chars smashin it with the skillet instead cook it.... but well the point of this is: aint some crafts supposed to be craftable only by certain tools? well raw oyster is a good example for it to get it on practice. i rare times see people using the secondary tools, main hand ones seems really only thing what matters, thats messed.

Some items will be easier and/or yields a different HQ when used with the secondary tools.

the problem is, raw oyster seems be dificult dto do with secondary tools... wich shouldn't, i think.

This is because you are meant to open the shell of an oyster by putting it on hot coals or pan for 0-15 seconds. This forces the shell open and it has been used by chefs for centuries. So yes Raw Oyster should be easier using the pan than the skillet. Jamming that knife in there is a surefire way to make it blunt or break off the tip.

well lol i be eat raw oyster since i was a kid, and have always open it with knives.... i dont know about high culinary so maybe you be right, but so far i be never seen anyone open oysters with a skillet... except my drunked uncle who smashed the skillet against the oyster in anger (btw it didnt worked, it didnt open).

EDIT: i also worked on markett plaza dedicated only to fish and seafood stuff... and no one ever there used skillets to open oysters.

EDIT 2: Forgot to mention... raw oysters are nowdays forbiden for sale on my town... cause certain disseases it can cause (besides the parasites you can get by eatin them).
