Different hairstyles for each gearset

I think it would be nice to have different hairstyles when switching to a different gear set. I often want to look completely different different w/o having to go to the inn for a hair cut each time I change gear sets.

There is a way, it's called making an alt :)
Not perfect but you will have to decide for the convenience of having everything on the same character (= same looks) or individual characters ( = different looks).

Can we have this please?

My ponytail whm doesnt look right with my long free flowing bard.
And I want to beable to cosplay Sora in WOD without having to make an alt and get it alll the way to ilvl (90 I think to get it to wod?) :I

That's not a way to do what he's asking for at all, not to mention that leveling an alt would take longer than changing your hairstyle several thousand times.

+1 to the idea though.

Throw in face paint and titles while you're at it.

Who would make alts just to... That's too much work for me.

It might not be what he is asking for but it is one possibility. With further comment, essentially what people are asking for is different looks for theior characters. It starts with hair, then face paint and titles ( as Gelesto mentioned), the next thing is race, breast size, tail shapes etc.

The character is essentially the same, all you do is change your profession. Now I do see that you would be able to switch between loose hair and a pony tail but you should not be able to go to, for example, a short cut from long hair and back unless you have the ultimate hair growth tonic.


We already have the possibility to change hairstyles at any time we like, why would this be implemented. Pay the gold if you want it but accept that you shouldn't be able to change your hair at will.

Next: Why can't I change my hair depending on battle? I want short for a boss but long for trash mobs.

(Not personally against the idea but..) You'll just get the standard SE response to questions like this.

Stuff like
This request will require more data to be transferred back and forth
it will require additional space for saving character data
etc etc

The point of using Aesthetician is gil sink as well though. By having different hairstyle for each gear set is kinda make that obsolete. But if it is implemented, it would be like 2k gil for changing job around? You will run out of money pretty fast though..
