heavensward pre order

So I just pre ordered heavensward. I noticed something about an activation key. What happens if I unlock that?

You go to website listed in instructions and enter code, this unlocks early access code you apply in mog station. Then you just wait for game to launch in a few weeks.

I see so I unlock it and it basically gives me the code to play it before its initial date?

yes the early access starts on June 19th at 2am PDT.

Yep, when you put that code in the Mogstation, your account service will look like this:

Then you just wait until the 19th and bam! Early Access!
