Enable camera effects when initiating actions

Hello,
Anyone know what the option "Enable camera effects when initiating actions" under Character Configuration > General tab do? I tried turning it on and off, and it doesn't seem to affect anything. Is it one of those options that affects you when using a controller?

This is for people with legacy setting on. For example. If your fishing, and you move the camera it cancers fishing action
