Question about barding

So I want to get the Ice Barding, I have the materials required, but don't have leatherworking.

Is it possible to have a leatherworker craft it for me? I noticed the item is classed as untradeable. (Not too sure how it works when getting a LW to craft for you).

Any insight into this is welcome. :)

That means you can't sell it to an NPC?

Because I see Ice Barding listed on the AH.

It can be crafted, then traded/sold.
