We've seen the new skills (some) , we seen the new jobs, but what of the new traits? A lot of people under-estimate the value of traits, have they been revealed anywhere, or will we just have to wait?

Idk why not. I think they could make some really useful traits for some abilities.
Personally I would love to see a trait for shadowflare where it has a chance to renew its duration. Like it now has a 10% chance on damage tick to renew its duration and maybe add a diminishing return effect if it was too overpowered.

I thought you were referring to the new jobs. The existing jobs won't be getting traits - that is confirmed.
