I don't think it would be an issue since money is not being used to buy things in the game itself, but you never know.
Art -> game time should be fine, since you purchase game time with money and art -> money is pretty much how all commissions go. Can't say whether that's okay with SE or not, but that's how I'd interpret it. P:
Care to explain how art for gil is different from carries for gil? I just don't see a difference outside of the former infringing on intellectual properties.
Art for Gil is: Out of game item (art) for in game stuff (gil) = Against ToS
Carries for Gil is: In game action (Carry) for in game stuff (gil) = Same basic concept as item for gil from a marketboard.
