Returning player looking for Duty Roulette advice please

Hi FFXIV,

A day or so ago I returned to the game after not playing for sometime. My item level is currently level 69 and after checking the Duty Roulette: High level I noticed the item level needed is 80.

On this list I have the following:

The Lost City of Amdapor
??? X 8

Didn't the item level use to be 55?

Do I need to reach item level 80 before I can start unlocking? I just ran The Wanderer's Palace and it didn't unlock on the above list?

Any advice would be great!

You have to unlock all dungeons to do the roulette. the highest provides ilevel 100 gear but requires ilevel 90 to join. The unlocks are at Mor Dhona mostly and some are unlocked by doing the content patch story. You can do the ones individually as you need to do it once to unlock it in roulette.

If you want to gear up fast do hunts. Check the part finder tool for a hunt party and ask for a hunt link shell too. So much to do...

The list only shows the ones you've unlocked but haven't run yet (in which case it shows the name of the dungeon) or ones you haven't unlocked yet (in which case it shows ???).

Here are all of the dungeons you need to complete in order to unlock High Roulette, as well as the ilvl you need to participate in the dungeon.

0 The Wanderer's Palace
0 Amdapor Keep
48 Pharos Sirius
48 Copperbell Mines (Hard)
48 Haukke Manor (Hard)
55 Hullbreaker Isle
55 Brayflox's Longstop (Hard)
55 Halatali (Hard)
70 The Lost City of Amdapor
70 The Stone Vigil (Hard)
70 The Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard)
80 Snowcloak
80 Sastasha (Hard)
80 The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard)

Whenever you unlock one of the ones you don't have, its name will change from ??? to the name of the dungeon in your requirements list. Whenver you complete a dungeon, it will be REMOVED from your requirements list. For example, in your first post, you mention that you have "The Lost City of Amdapor" and 8x ???. As soon as you run "The Lost City of Amdapor" successfully, it will disappear from the list of requirements. As soon as you unlock "Sastasha (Hard)", then one of the ??? will change into "Sastasha (Hard)". When you win "Sastasha (Hard)", it will be removed from the list of requirements.

The requirements list only shows you the dungeons you still need to unlock and/or win.

Also note that in order to unlock Snowcloak, you will need to proceed through most of the Main Scenario quests. You will not be able to unlock it otherwise, no matter what your ilvl is!
