So my problem seems to be the opposite of what most people here are having problems with. I want to make the text in chat SMALLER than 12pt Id like 8 in theory as I an playing on a 23inch 1080p monitor but I still have only 7 lines of about 60 characters for my chat log with it taking up about 1/8th my screen. Again to clarify I want to keep the rest of the ui the same size (80% in my case) but make more text fit in my visible chat log.
