Chocobo use in expansion?

Does anyone know if chocobos can be used in the expansion and if so, are their max level going to increase :)

They will be used and I'm sure they will fly. I'm quite sure I sure in a live letter they are increasing rank too ^^

increased chocobo level bro mines been 20 for awhile cant wait to feed him more snacks.

With mobs getting an increase in difficulty, this means I plan to have mine out all the time. If you don't have rank 20 or soon to have it, might want to stock up on onions!

I have 16 of them growing. I was going to sell them asap but I might just wait till after the expansion. ;D

That's my next step after I'm done growing some jute, lol!

I've been crossbreeding for Thav. Onions lately. Got 5 Seeds so far!

Let's just hope SE doesn't pull a fast one and say that a new and different item is required to increase Chocobo rank beyond 20.

All chocobos are being deleted when early access starts.
