Open world content

So i'm wondering, Will there be more open world content in Heavens ward?

Like special mobs (Notorious monsters like in XI?) Or maybe something similiar that gives people a sense of reason to explore the world. Currently i'm playing XI again for some old memories and god do i enjoy just running out to check if there is a NM up and fighting it for that rare drop.

I remember back in 1.0 when they removed NMs because i believe they said did not like the competiveness it creates between people but its something i really miss, To do something in the open world when you're waiting for queues or just wanna do something else.

Anyone else feel the same?
