Can you figure out a way to keep the emote list button on the gamepad?

This is really a kind of luxurious feature to have and it really makes playing the game very enjoyable. You can pull up an emote while you're auto running and then wave to someone without touching the keyboard. Can you please figure out a way to keep it in patch 1.19?

I agree. But more importantly, the crucial Enemy and Ally Signs are accessed through the same window, and they'll become considerably less easy to use if instead of two (for enemies) or three (for allies) button presses, we have to do 4 or 5 instead.

That's right, I forgot about that. With that feature it's very easy to mark a target quickly before someone attacks the wrong one. Please keep it on the gamepad somehow. I would sacrifice my map key since I can access the map through the main menu if nothing else.

When I saw that they were getting rid of emote list propt via game pad. I was like "Oh thank god!!!"

fishing through the emote list to do an emote takes too long and makes the emote seem like an after thought.

You'll still be able to access the emote list on gamepad, since now you'll be able to use that Micro Menu thing (the little menu that's in the bottom right by default.) It has a button that opens the emote/marking menu.

You can also place marks with macros, which is much faster than the menu.

I see no sense in abolishing this shortcut and I am a bit disappointed. I found it very convenient to call up the emote list with a single button.

I'm thinking this will actually give us enhanced functionality since we should now be able to directly access Inventory, Use Item, and Emote/Marking Menu. Don't think of it as getting rid of Emote menu, but instead adding access to those little menu icons. Now since the Micro Menu has a Main Menu button, I wonder if there is something useful we can do with that extra button freed up.

I'm thinking I'll need a third party app to handle that though...a Scroll Lock / Print Screen combo button might be nice to set up.

I think this is great, much prefer to access the entire micro menu than just the emote list, such a pain having to try and find my mouse to use food or items.

I completely forgot all about the micro menu.
