So how fast can you go?

so i am leveling my monk at lv 42 and with 3 stacks of GL my skills have a 1.98 cooldown.

What is the max skill skill or speed speed and how fast/low can the GCD go down to?

The recast time is hard capped at 1.5s

That's what my skill speed is at, roughly, with Huton as NIN.

Any idea if said capped is being removed since we will be having stats increased?

In a discussion about Mudra lag, they mentioned that it's simply not structurally possible for them to lower delay past a certain point.

I guess 1.5 is pretty fast I can live with that

Pretty much.

So for instance using entirely fictitious numbers pulled directly out of ... well we won't get in to that:

Lv50: 200 skill speed = 5% haste
Lv51: 200 skill speed = 4.8% haste
Lv52: 200 skill speed = 4.5% haste
etc etc
Lv60: 200 skill speed = 2% haste

Basically it works out so that at level 60 you'll need equivalent HW gear to get the same amount of haste that you have right now.

The reason for this is pretty obvious if we do the same thing for crit. If someone can have like 50% crit rate right now, then if the calculations didn't change with the level cap increase, that person would have like 130% crit rate in HW with equivalent gear.
