Unable to promote from Serpent Sergeant First Class to Chief Serpent Sergeant

Hey everyone,

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.

I'm having some trouble with promoting from Serpent Sergeant First Class to Chief Serpent Sergeant in my Grand Company (Twin Adder).

Basically, I have completed the quest "Shadows Uncast", which was needed as part of the promotion. I have more than enough company seals as I never spend them and this bug has been going on for a while now.

I have also done my hunting log rank 2 for the GC but that doesn't count for this promotion, but I did it anyways just incase.

When I go to talk about applying for a promotion I am told to speak to Vorsaile Heuloix, but when I go speak to him I'm not given any quests or any indication, just a generic message about me gaining favor with the Sylphs of Little Solace.

Hopefully someone can help me, I'm desperate to promote so I can properly unlock the hunting board.

That is a very strange bug. As long as you have 8K seals and Shadows Uncast (Twin Adder) completed you should be able to apply for the promotion with the Serpent Personnel Officer like always. Also might want to check this out http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-THIS-FIRST%29 next time. Most of the time if you don't use their way of reporting bugs they tend to just close the thread for lack of information and tell you to use use the correct way to report of bug.
