CE pre-order Bonus code not working in Mog Station.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I'm not sure where to ask this.

I pre-ordered the CE digital PC copy the other day and received my bonus code with instructions how to redeem it in my email yesterday. When I tried to input it via the mog station all it does is give me an error that says my code is invalid. Help!

Do you have the 18 or 20 Digit Code? If 18 you have to redeem it here first: https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/na (change na to eu if you're eu)

I have a 20 digit code. I tried adding the code I got from that site but all I get are errors sadly. :(

Where did you pre-order your game? If it doesn't work you might want to ask for a replacement code.

Aside of that, when entering the code, make sure there are no empty-spaces infront or behind the 4 digit combinations. Also make sure you're really pressing the "add early-acces code/pre-order code" button under my account, and not one of the other where you can add codes.

Try using different browser.

I'll try using a different browser. I've been using chrome. I purchased it from the Square Enix store. I'll also try asking for a fresh code to see if the one they gave me is faulty somehow. Thanks for the suggestions so far. :)

Oh! It appears the mog station is undergoing maintenance. Maybe that's why I was having trouble? I'll try again in a couple hours I suppose. I'm not in a huge rush since the expac doesn't drop for a few weeks yet hehe.

Are you entering it in the right place?
I was trying to put mine in under "enter item code" rather than the "pre-order item code". I felt rather silly when I figured it out.

Still says it's invalid but I went to the support page and found a statement saying this:

So maybe I should wait a couple more weeks?

That's from before they announced PC codes were redeemable after May 15th. If you have a PC code, then the error is because the code is incompatible with your account (different region, trying to attach non-Steam code to Steam account, etc) or just because of maintenance.
