we will get crafting tomes, you get them by crafting for Rowena, one is limited, the other not, the specialization will be in 3 classes and you will be able to farm to craft gears and get better faster than with the tome or stick with the tomes but you will progress slower.
So... first we pay Rowena in Tomes and now we have to craft for her? Haha... In all seriousness though, it would seem that we know very little about crafting right now in 3.0. I did hear that you WILL NOT be able to craft i130+ gear until 3.01 so people can't faceroll through Alexander in Crafted, Penta-Melded gear.
3.01 will be when Alexander normal is released. I highly doubt they would add 10 more levels of crafting without a minimum of 130 gear, especially when it sounds like the new uncapped tomes at launch will buy 170 gear.
They might hold back 170 crafted gear until Alexander is released, I expect the ingredients to come from there.
You'll get to take all crafts to 60, but you will only be able to specialize in three crafts (you can specialize as early as level 55).
Hopefully, higher tier crafting is a little easier to get into as opposed to what we have now with having to spend millions on HQ penta-melded gear just to be able to attempt higher level crafts.
From what I understand, that's the reason behind the specializations- to give specialized crafters certain actions that make high-level crafting less of a nightmare. Which I'm all kinds of behind! I only hope they don't lock recipes behind specializations.
I mean sure make crafting end-tier items for classes you're not specialized in hard as hell. I just want to be able to do everything if I put enough effort into it.
