Thinking of changing servers

Is Phoenix a good server to be on? I mean...community-wise? Ragnarok is right now seeming very unfriendly to me, and I'd rather be on A: A smaller server so friends don't have to worry about being unable to make a new character on it. and B: A more friendly server that doesn't have a bunch of elitist jerkwads. I want to stick with EU servers so peak times are at times when my best friend (who would likely come with me) will be on and can raid. He works early so he can't stay up til 3am and such, which would be when he'd have to play for an NA server's peak times.

Any honest responses are appreciated. I was on Phoenix on FFXI so that's why my first choice is here.

I have been here since the start of 2.0 and I like the Phoenix server. Every server has their elitest jerks, but I never had any trouble with them, they keep to themselves I guess :)

Actually I was wanting to make my own FC. I've had 3 FCs on Ragnarok so far. In one, the leader betrayed us. In another the leader kicked everyone and disbanded the FC, and my most recent one was deja vu from the last. I'm done with people taking my home away, I'm going to make one myself and never disband it like that.

I think every server has their jerks. As far as population goes, Phoenix is one of the more populated servers around, if you're looking for a smaller server I'd suggest something like Odin. The server is mostly EU but there are people from all parts of the globe.
