Recruit-A-Friend 20% exp bonus item

I’m the “friend” that was recruited. I bought the game, registered an account, entered the recruit-a-friend code, chose a subscription plan, and registered a Credit Card as method of payment. It has been 3 days and I still haven’t received any of the bonus items for using this feature. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong? Is it supposed to take this long? I received all of my bonus items for buying the collector’s edition of the game.

Please help.

You dont get the items till you pay for subscription. So if you are using the free month you wont get it till the end of that month and you re-up, or if you apply a timecard.

So I can apply the time card and not have to wait the 30 days? Seems a bit of a let down to receive the exp bonus items after I would have a use for it. I'm pretty sure I'll be 25 by then :(

Yes game cards will trigger it straight away, only subscriptions (that trigger when they expire) will wait for the full 30 days.

What is the minimum amount that I have to pay for up front with? Can I buy 1 game card, put the remaining on subscription and still get the bonus items immediately?

I belive the hairpin is 1 month and the mount is 3. If you can find a 1 or 3 month game card you can get everything upfront. I've only ever seen 2 month cards though and the system only tracks/allows 120 days access max, at a time. Ie your free month stops you from applying 2 2month cards.
