Question regarding PS4/PC account with Xpac

I tried looking before asking here but cant find any answers, i currently have PC and PS4 access on this account, I was wondering if buying Heavensward on the PC also gives me access on the PS4 or do i have to buy on both systems for this one account?

You need to buy both the PC and PS4 if you want to access it on both.

Fortunately, you only need to buy 1 Collector Edition if you want that.

WoW! Ok so i have both ps4 and pc access, so I bought the pc expansion collectors edition and when that releases lets say i make a Ninja and log him out in the new zone. When i log in that character on my PS4 it will now prompt me to buy the expansion again to play this character there? Thats sounds incredibly stupid.

Yeah. Unfortunately if you try to log onto your PS4, I believe it won't let you log on at all. It'll just bring up a prompt saying that you don't have the license for it.
