Feedback: Ability to leave Duty without incurring penalty (Duty Finder)

I was recently in DF and encountered an abusive player. I wanted to be dismissed from the party, so I asked to be dismissed from the Duty. The abusive player (who happened to be party leader) would not initiate a Vote Dismiss.

At this point, the player is left with two options - finish the Duty and tolerate the abuse, or leave the Duty and incur a 30 minute DF ban.

I hope SE will consider allowing a party member to leave a Duty Finder instance without incurring a penalty, or allow for a certain number of abandonments in a specific amount of time.

Players should not be penalized for not wanting to participate in Duty Finder with abusive players.

The party leader is not the only person who can initiate a vote dismiss, anyone can. The option is there, everyone else in your group just agreed with the leader apparently.

Well if it was in an instance, anyone can start a vote kick against another player. The party leady only has the choice to start the DF to replace members who left.
Just report the guy and move on. A 30min penalty isn't really all that bad.

You need to grow some thicker skin if you can't tolerate stuff.
I've said it in that thread, i'll say it again.

Take the 30min penalty and report him, then move on.

When racial slurs are used, people tend to get back against wall.

Aww you poor soul, you will not last another month in Eorzea with the amount of real abuse going on between players..
