Question about gear for new Jobs

Hey everyone!

I would like to ask a quick question, hoping that someone would know the answer. So, we are, as everyone knows, getting three new Jobs in Heavensward, however I was wondering if we can use our current gear for them that we get from Poetics, Soldiery and raids, dungeons in general or will they get new ones?

I doubt they would make class specific gear for these retroactively but I am not sure. Does anyone know this for sure? Is it worth getting all the, say, healer gear if we want to play as an Astro in HW?

In the HW benchmark you actually see a machinist wielding what looks like a High Allagan Gun and the HA Aiming gear, so yes we can still use our current gear on them.

If you have poetics gear / soldiery gear you can use them on Astro :)

MCH will apparently be sharing BRD gear, while AST and DRK will obviously be sharing healer and tank gear respectively.
