My sister and I have been having an issue when our racing chocobos get their rank 10 ability. The very next race the skill does not appear on the skill bar, and we are not sure on how to get it to show up. Very frustrating any help would be appreciated.

Does your rank 10 ability appear on your chocobo profile page? If it is, it depends on what skill you have, is it passive or active?
Usually passive skills will not be shown on the skill bar during the race, an example Stamina III, resist heavy, ect (I cannot remember most of the names at the moment) which is passive so it is already applied to the chocobo and the skill bar is not needed to activate them. If it's something like Choco Dash, Choco Steal, etc, those are active and it will be on the skill bar for you to activate during the race.
Read the abilities and you will know that some of them are passive and active. Usually those that increases stamina, resistance (other skills I cannot remember on the top of my head at the moment) will always be passive.
