Still no word on Au Ra Naming Conventions?

I was under the impression that they would be revealed in the live letter yesterday. Did I miss something, or did I get my dates wrong? :confused:

All they said was 'End of May'. People of course speculated this meant the live letter.

Nope, still nothing, People are getting understandably antsy due to the fact that we're running out of May, here, but nothing yet.

(We're also now exactly four weeks away from the early access soft-launch of the expansion, which doesn't help.)

Ah, okay. I didn't think I was completely crazy, but apparently assuming the live letter date was a bad idea. I just hope they actually tell us before the end of May instead of waiting for E3. That would leave a lot of people in a frenzy. Thanks guys!

"End of May" by their standards probably means the 31st. :P
Still, I'm annoyed. There's not really a good reason to hold it off so long.

I am sure that Fern is very busy with finalizing translations of Heavensward and such, in all three languages. Since he is also the head lore guy, no doubt this is going to be posted when they can find the time. And they still have over a week.

He said a while ago that the naming conventions were basically done, but he wasn't being allowed to release them.

For the next month and until E3/release, expect infos to be given one at a time, maybe every week. A little like they do for major patches.

Like week 1 : Naming conventions, week 2 : more infos on the crafting mastery, week 3 : harvesting.

If by "running out" you mean "still 25% left." :p

But, yeah, they were never more specific than "late May." Which, we still have almost all of "late May" left.

I wonder what's with the specific hold up though, if they've had it finalized for so long that is. It's not like giving naming conventions is something super important, heck it's actually really minor, it really only applies to roleplayers.
