IGN never ask good question they ask question that anyone would have asked i guess.
never been a fan of IGN's interviews, however they are better then nothing i guess.
I'd love to hear an orchestrated rendition of Final Fantasy 6's opening music.
That'd be a truly beautifull masterpiece being stroked across my audio senses.
Oh wait... I found it:
Such a beautifull tune
Yup I have to agree that's one of the best pieces he's ever done. Even the original version with the moody graphics intro is one of the best game intros ever.

Just LOOK at it. That's you set the mood for a game.
Look up "Terra in Black".
Nobuo is a musical genious (just look at the work done by The Black Mages) but that remix blows the original out of the water.
Meh, nothing I haven't heard before. But at least people are still paying attention to Uematsu-san. I don't think he's given quite enough credit for the success of the Final Fantasy franchise.
What I'd really like to know is whether or not SE's keeping him on retainer for new music in XIV. Nothing against Naoshi Mizuta, he's awesome too, but it'd be nice.
"IGN: What's your favorite song that you've composed and why?
Uematsu: It's hard for me to listen to my compositions equally without remembering all the memories, but I do think "To Zanarkand" is not too bad."
The best song in any FF in my opinion, such a good tune :) Gives me chills to this day.
