Perks include a mansion in the Mist, FC buffs, 4-star crafters in every profession, training and dying of chocobos, garden use if you desire (just ask!), funded private rooms, bi-weekly FC events, FC website with forums, live chat, and videos posted of downed content, learning parties, and Teamspeak! There are usually 15-30 members online during peak hours!
