You should be able to get it digital but I'm not 100% sure after hearing the Steam mess.
i hope so at least i thought of this before its was to late
I own the physical version of ARR and am looking forward to get the digital version of HW, and I can't say for certain but I don't think there should be a problem whether you get HW digital or physical.
