[PS3][PS4]Issues with the “FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward (Add-On)” Download (May 18)

We have confirmed an issue with the “FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward (Add-On)” download for the PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®4 systems wherein the downloaded content causes FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to fail at the version check, resulting in the game not starting.
* This is the data that is downloaded when a customer enters their 12-digit pre-purchase code in the PlayStation® Store.

If you have pre-purchased FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward for either PlayStation®3 or PlayStation®4, please refrain from redeeming the 12-digit pre-purchase code at this time. If you have already done so and have encountered the issue, please completely uninstall FINAL FANTASY XIV from your system, then re-download and re-install FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn only. Please be sure that the Heavensward add-on is not checked when you re-download the game.

The issue is currently being investigated so that a fix can be implemented as soon as possible.

It has been confirmed that this issue only affects downloads from the European region PlayStation®Store. Currently in the North America region, product codes cannot yet be registered, and is therefore not affected by this issue.

Previously, we notified you of an issue with the “FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward (Add-On)” download content for the PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®4 systems which caused FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to fail at the version check, resulting in the game not starting.

This issue has been resolved by the emergency maintenance which occurred on May 21, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:45 (GMT).

If you are affected by this issue and unable to log in, you will need to reinstall FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. Please reinstall your client.
