Stabled Chocobo Reverts to Prior state when retrieving it from Housing Enthusiast

Area and coordinates: Lavender Beds
Steps:
1. Stable a Personal Chocobo that is rank 10
2. Feed it an Thavnairian Onion to uncap it to 11
3. Be force kicked from an FC while Personal Chocobo is stabled (this happened due to a merger)
4. Retrieve Personal Chocobo from Housing Enthusiast (in this case at Lavender Beds)

The result was my Chocobo that was 3/4 of the way into Rank 10 towards Rank 11, and had reverted to being capped at Rank 10. I'm essentially out one Thavnairian Onion and a lot of Krakka Roots.
