I hope this isn't illegal: I found a way to transfer gil to other characters
I intended to play this game with 7 characters, but I reduced it to 3 when I realized how needlessly time consuming it was to complete the game with everyone. So far, the 3 where the best option to keep (I don't want just one character for several reasons), but the other 4 were just sitting there with a lot of valuable items. Since i won't be using them anymore, I plan to delete them, but I at least wanted to keep the gil I earned. So what I did was sell everything belonging to one of the soon-to-be one characters, go to back to one of the main 3 and have them sell an item (like an egg) equal to the amount of gil the character I will delete has in their wallet, then buy the egg with that character. The amount I get will come at the cost of the tax fee, but this was what I was able to transfer my gil from character to character. But is this okay? I don't want to get banned (this involves a fee and I earned all my gil), but I'm not sure if I should continue. If it's against the rules, I'll just stop.
