Sch "BiS" legs question

So i was trying out the difference between Dreadwyrm pants and WoD pants , wod got 22 more determination but dreadwyrm 5 more mind (lets ignore crit here her for abit) with dreadwyrm i am healing lowest for 1460-1540 while with wod pants consistent 1500s , the discrepancy between highest-lowest heal with wod is much smaller (weapon is last resort no zeta) so my question is , what is actually better the dreadwyrm pants or the wod ones?

I'll try to dig for the links, but parses show full i130 yields higher hps output than a mix of wod gear.

I also question your own results. I was getting ~1450-1530 with wod skirt and ~1450-1540 with dreadwyrm. The dreadwyrm seemingly gave more heals in the 1500+ range than the wod.

I didn't do a full parse but my own limited results seem to support past discussion on this.

I130 pants, the extra healing from WoD gear, if there is any, is negligable, but the Vitality and increased defense makes a difference for youself and your pet. You always have Lustrate 3 times every minute too.

imo you can use the WOD gloves if you like (though I'd still use poetics 130 gloves in turn 13 because the more health in that fight the better).

Personally, I found the dreadwyrm pants were better, but only if you have the ring from Turn 12 AS WELL.

You have a few options, but if you're gearing your Scholar to DPS in FCoB. you could always penta-meld the Kirimu Gloves. They have more crit than WoD gloves and give you Piety rather than Determination. However you can always meld Determination onto them, and then Accuracy to meet the requirements. I'm able to hit T13 accuracy requirements with 3 penta-melded items, the gloves, necklace and one ring. On the latter 2 I also max out Vitality so you end up with just over 6.5k HP.

Aside from crafted Kirimu gloves with penta-melds for DET and/or ACC for Final Coil DPS, I'd argue i120 WoD gloves are technically best-in-slot for SCH because of CRIT/DET.

Unless you want to i130 Vitality with either IW or Dread gloves. I'd pick IW in this situation because of DET.

The Dread wins out not because of the minor increase heals and dps(barely any difference there, practically the same) but the extra hp and piety it's nets you can't get from the WoD skirt. The WoD pants is a very good sub, but it is not BiS.

To be honest, it means almost nothing. 15% echo renders these things very minor, which is why I've given up with a few of my SCH/WHM/BLM items that apparently don't exist.
