What the future holds

The more i hear about the upcoming patches the more i have faith that this game will be a success. By Patch 1.21, most of the game's core systems will have been revised and put in place. Patch 1.22 will probably focus a lot on tweaking and balancing the said systems.

What goes beyond that got me very excited. At that point they can go and tackle all the requests we made about making the world feel more alive, PVP, markets, jump, the maps revisions and the many other suggestions we made to the team but that were not a priority back then.

Imagine when the first expansion hits? Good job to Yoshi-p and all of his team for all the hard work they put in these past few months. All the fans that stuck around did not waste their time.

Take time to give the developers your support and tell us how you imagine the game will be after the first expansion set hits?

A rank 1 GLD is someone who hasn't experienced much more than the opening credits.

Yes, I am very excited to see what the first expansion holds. This game has the potential to completely eclipse FFXI. Under the current helm, I trust it has a bright future.

It's not very hard to make a mule account, you realize.

And, just so you know, there is no eclipsing a game by doing pale imitations thereof. The more FFXIV tries to imitate WoW and FFXI, the more it slips behind the times.

FFXI was so 2004. And WoW was so never.

You say the game sucks and is not improving, and try to make a point of it.

If it's that bad and not changing in the direction you would like it too... why do you
stick around here and signup as different users.

I ask myself the same thing.

The only Mounted Conclusion I have for this is, He has no life and it brings him joy to bash down a game he wholeheartedly hates.

I am also very optimistic about the future of FF14. The following all have me excited:
1. Grand Company induction & Grand Company Levees
2. Primal content
3. Caravan escort -> Hamlet Defense
4. Beastman stronghold raids
5. Chocobos!!!!!!!!!!
6. Stat overhaul
7. Crafting simplification
8. Materia!!!!!
9. Jobs and the associated content

I am looking forward to post 1.21 too but damn if i'm not excited about 1.19-1.21 just as much.
