small psn question
Ok my lil brother baught the game and made a square enix account on his old ps3. it was only the free trial than he stoped playing. He than sold his ps3 for a ps4 but he sold it with his psn account so now he has a new one. I was going to pay for his sub but am not suire yet bc I don't want to waist money. Does he have to create a new one or can he use his old account even tho is conected to his old psn account.

You can't sell a psn account.. He'd be able to log in with the same psn account on ps3 and ps4. Square Enix account is also universal, you only need one account for ps3, ps4 and pc. All you have to do is add the license for that platform to your account through the mogstation.

Yeah a parently he sold his ps3 with the psn account info. so if I wanted to play on another ps4 system I can play? As long as I can log in

All he needs to do really is change the password, then whoever bought the old ps3 won't be able to log in to that account. The PSN account is just attached to email account, so yes you should be able to log in on any ps3 or ps4 with the login credentials. I would suggest changing the password first, though.

Sorry if I ask a lot I wana make sure before I do anything

So long as YOUR FFXIV lisence is tied to YOUR PSN account you can play from any PS3/PS4. (note that PS3 and PS4 themselves are not interchangeable, I just don't know which you have. So in short if you have a PS3 License you can play on ANY PS3 but not PS4. If you have a PS4 License you can play from any PS4.
Sorry if it comes off like I'm talking down to you. I just wanted to make it as clear as possible and there is a lot of confusion around this subject. Especially once PS4 entered the mix.
