1.19... 4 leves every 12 hrs....

# Players will receive an allowance of four leves every 12 hours (Earth time), up to maximum of 99.
# The allowance will be shared amongst regional, local, and faction leves.

As it is right now you can get 8 locals and 8 regional.

All I know is when other games comes out, it'll be a really good thing they can stack up to 99!

It may be late, but I dont understand the exchanging or the bonuses, anyone wanna clarify for me?

Well there is a plus side to this, at the moment it's 8 every 36 hours, now it's going to be 12 every 36 hours kinda. I think it will serve to annoy people who are 'addicted'* to playing and compulsively need to do the leves as they come or they feel that they are missing out, and instead of being able to grab 12 every day and half, you have to be logging on every 12 hours to only be able to do 4.

*I don't normally believe gaming addiction is out of control, but in some cases a kinda OCD will kick in too. I have studied this sort of thing, not that I'm addicted myself. ^^

The exchange/bonus bit they were referring to (please keep in mind this will be abolished with 1.19) is when you complete a bunch of leves, then head to the counter for new ones after a reset. You are given the option to "exchange" up to 4 leves towards a new leve. Each leve you trade towards a new one gives you between 0 and 2 stars, with 2 being the optimal, obviously. The more stars you get per trade in, the better your reward on the leve you are trading in for. The "bonus" applies to gil or guild marks, not items. So if you had a leve that was normally 10k reward, but traded in some leves, it could bump up to say... 16k.

We going back to 48hrs refresh. 4 every 12hrs = 16 (by 16 i mean 8 regional + 8 local) every 48hrs.

The idea is good (or else it wouldn't be mine) but the recast isn't. But, anyway, at least now we can focus on what we want...i'm hating having to accept crappy leves to not lose them right now...with the chances at least i can save the tag until i find a good leve.

But what i'm afraid is that without leves we will be with a terribly low gil influx to the game and major gil sink...depending of how this evaluation systeem take place, we might have some economic crisis OTW.

Actually you have 16 leves every 36 hours. The new system will give 4 every 12 hours. You can use those allowances to obtain leves of the Battle, Field, Faction, and Local variety.

We are losing like 4 leves in this transition every 36 hours. Though we have the decision to either get any type of leve we want. We could get 16 field and 2 Local if we have that many allowances saved up.

the flexibility of the system far exceeds losing 4 leves over all. I like the idea of being able to save a bunch up and then do a LS run once a week or something.

This is a twist on the changing it back to 48hr system, seems sorta ok to me.

It is going to make something easier to level now since you can pour all your leves into 1 thing now instead of being forced into 8 fighting/gathering and 8 crafting... now you can just put in 12 into fighting per 36hrs. So faster leveling now on 1 type of class (if you spend say everything on battle leves), slower overall since we are losing 4 leves per 36hrs.

if you do 2 leves every 36 hours now, because you feel forced, this system will be extremely nice :D I can't wait to do my leves when i feel like it and got time :D Ive never been able to do all 16 in time, that would mean id have to visit all the 3 cities just to do all field ones, then lotsa camps to do the locals, EVERY SINGLE DAY! If i could do 10 at once in one camp, much better! :D

hopefully they add allot more leves now that they stack to 99, maybe some fun ones.

One positive out look for me is here soon Gears of war 3, Skyrim, Battlefield 3 are games I will be getting. So hey I can save up its a plus for me.
