Pre-ordering HW

So i'm very much interested in pre-ordering HW, however I don't want to run into the hiccup that I did with the Realm Reborn collectors edition. I accidently bought the 31.99 CE that includes the game, but didn't realize that the correct version I should have gotten was 19.99. That, and the code for the 31.99 only works for making a whole new account. IE, can't apply it to an existing one. Still working on my refund for that mistake.


Anywho, I want to pre-order HW and all it's goodies, however don't want to end up with an unplayable copy because I again bought the wrong thing.

Anyone know how this works?

If you already have an account, you'll want to buy the one that says it REQUIRES an account, not the one that says it's both Final Fantasy XIV AND Heavensward.
