Am constantly being bombarded with spam from RMT nearly 20 per day and have to blacklist one by one but in vain as there will be always new.
Is there an option to disable Direct message(yell) and friend request if other PC make use Player Search. That is only FC, Friend and PC very near you can yell you.
That will definitely stop spamming.
/busy is your best friend.
But that mean my friend and FC can't send me messages.
Welcome to FFXIV... You deal with the spam, or you do lock out yourself from talking to your friends :D
SE NEEDS to add regex filtering to chat. They also NEED to disable the loophole of using a friend request to prevent someone from immediately blacklisting the spamvertiser - I'm already tired of having to go /busy to prevent being spammed with friend requests from spambots.
