We are a rank 8 Free Company on the Lamia server with a medium house in the Goblet. We're organized, but also casual-friendly, and we welcome new players and old alike.

We value community over numbers and we're picky about who we allow to join us. We are adults with lives and jobs who want to take the game at our own pace, but still see the whole game. We're not progression-focused, and we're not about clearing everything before Heavensward happens. If you're looking for that kind of FC, look elsewhere.

Just a little note here that we are still recruiting :) We've got a nice core group of people playing now, but would love to expand it. Going into Heavensward we *will* take time out to help anyone who needs it with ARR content - so if you're new to the game or just not quite ready for the Heavensward stuff come June, don't worry - there's still definitely a place for you in Dawn of the North :)

So, this past week we helped one of our members wrap up Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium for the 2.0 story, and then we helped another member with Castrum last night. The best part? They weren't forced to skip cutscenes, and got to experience the story the way that it was meant to be done. It might seem silly to talk about this but we believe that it's really important that new players get to experience the game fully, just like people who started playing two years ago - and let's be honest, Duty Finder sucks for that most of the time.

That's not the only thing we're doing though. We're part of an alliance of several FCs - last weekend we helped some of our allies get clears on Leviathan Extreme, Titan Extreme, and Ifrit Extreme - one even got a pony out of Ifrit. This weekend - helping people with Turn 5 clears if all goes well.
