"Answers" is literally from FF14. How is it lumped in the category of "other tracks not included in FINAL FANTASY XIV" when the song literally is included in the game. It's basically the first song you hear upon starting the game. I didn't play 1.0, but wasn't the melody played right before the end of 1.0? I know the melody was proudly used in the Anniversary event for A Realm Reborn. And wasn't it used in some form in the credits for 2.0 and 2.55? I mean, it's clearly an iconic song for this game, and it just seems so degrading to pretend it's somehow not connected to this game.Quote:

My guess, and this is a total shot in the dark, is that Answers was composed by Nobuo Uematsu whereas all of the other music in FFXIV is Soken.

05-12-2015, 09:15 PMEnkidohThis is not actually correct - a significant portion of FFXIV ARR's OST was composed by Uematsu, specifically tracks that returned from the original version of FFXIV (version 1.0), which ironically includes Answers. Although like you I have no idea either as to the reason why exactly SE has forbidden Answers to be used, but I'm going to make a wild guess that it probably has something to do with record licensing of the track.Quote:
