Siege The City

In xi A nation or beast tribe were able to dominate an area. Why not make imperials attack the cities. they are already attacking outside of gridania. whenever a nation looses ground to imperials they should get closer, and eventually reach the city.

once they reach the city an all out war happens for dominance of the city. PvE TIME!!

Catapults, battering rams, rain of arrows, moats. drawbridges. Each would have a significance during the battle. IF we lose the battle they occupy the city until the next Cycle. A sort of "upkeep" would be instilled.

THE GOAL: would be to PREVENT/fend off imperials from entering and reaching a cetain spot within the city. with the use of rams, ladders, catapaults ECT. Not some lame random spawn and stand around

Gridania would be lost forever after the first week.

On a serious note, anything different from the routine would be great. Would love to see some more creative gameplay along these lines.

Hmm well the city would be occupied meanin :we would have to wait until the next cycle. In the mean time Everyone would have to prepare to reclaim the city at a Set time (maybe at time when japan and North america both have daylight going on). Once the cycle begins Npcs gather at the site with ladders, rams ect.. and you attack along with them, watch them ram the main gates down and reclaim the place. I guess it would be a scripted event.

The only flaw would be Timing of the event not everyone could play at the same time. But SE can think of somthing.

Well you could have more then one time.... Or maybe just make it open world, the attacks can happen at random intervals and you can try and take back the cities whenever you like. With the new targeting system that they are doing you can have multiple parties attacking at once without them even being connected :O
