Need Help Finding A Server

After reaching level 50 for the first time on my Miqo'te on Balmung I find myself wanting to start another character just so I can level a job I don't have to 50 and get to know a new server.

My current issue is I can not figure out where I should stick my female Roe. I would choose Balmung but it's always locked and a pain to figure out the exact time in central time when it is open. Plus people seem to ignore new players for some odd reason, it's just my experience. Finding an FC or even people to play with has been utter hell.

If anyone can think of a server that has a great community of helpful people, FC's that consider you more than just another number and most importantly people who actually WANT to do content with their own FC members then please let me know.

I just want to find a server where I can meet people who want to play a video game together on a daily basis is all. If anyone can help me here then I would thank you greatly.

many of the more crowded servers open up during the mornings then close up during afternoons/evenings
behemoth is generally open from 1 AM till 11 AM if you'd like to try a character there
the community is alright, alot of the raid parties i join have a good sense of humour

Thank you Kukajoo, appreciate the reply. Behemoth is a server I actually created a Roe on. Will give it a try once I get more suggestions.

I was actually going to suggest Behemoth also. Most of the people I know are transfers from other servers, including me; we stay because it's a nice place. I've been here a little over a year now and have no complaints. :)

Hyperion, Esper Form <Esper> FC. Your best choice if you want a bunch of both nice and helpful people. They have both hardcore, mid-core and casual players in there so you can bend in with any group.

As much as I love seeing a ton of people in every city on Balmung the lack of social interaction is a major put off for me. I can only play solo so much before I want to uninstall a game and Balmung, sadly, seems to ignore people outside of inner circles/cliques. Love the server just wish the social interaction was better. It's very difficult to be a part of anything with established circles of friends. Joining a random FC is always met with the feeling like you're just another number and no one cares you are there. Same with Linkshells, they're always filled with people who have formed their own cliques who won't give you the time of day.

I won't leave Balmung but I need interactions and Balmung just can't give me that. I refuse to suck up to get anywhere.
