since airship crafting is coming...

will we ever be able to build other important things??

upgrades to houses

fishin boats for more stuff to do as fisher?? like being able to finally take a boat to sea n fish??

other vehicles( mounts) for example modifcations to our magitek etc etc??

Already happening in this next expansion. Can't remember if it will be there on day 1 or not but it is happening. Mainly with the facade from what they've shown though.

in regards to housing i dont mean appearance more like.. addons to the house build more rooms or 2nd/3rd floors even upstairs verandahs/balconies we can use for all houses not just give more options for the bigger/fc houses

Doubtful that's going to happen since it would increase the load on the housing instances. Until such a time comes that housing is common enough that more people can get them I wouldn't get my hopes up for many enhanced features of this type since expanding how many people can participate in housing is a huge flaw that many people complain about regularly. (all small houses sold out in 15m after they are added as an example) Honestly, I think the only reason they are doing the crafting floor is because it was promised ages ago. They still actively refuse to let us place more items in the house because it would push the servers too much after all. Despite the fact 200 in a large house is a joke that leaves the houses feeling rather empty.

As for your point about fishing boats. I wouldn't get your hopes up for that either until the expansion having to do with the Sea. When they were planning Heavensward they said they had a Sky or Sea theme they were thinking of and they chose sky. We can probably expect to see the Sea option in the future so probably at that time boats may become a thing similar to how airships were added for the Sky theme. In similar fashion I wouldn't expect such boats to work in any of the old areas though.

seems like such a waste to have fishin class restricted to fishing off land and the 2 spots off the boat costa del sol... so much ocean not being used and so much potential for fishing class :P sailing around the ocean looking for rare spots for fishies would be a good n fun time consuming challenge XD

as for housin issue SE really didnt plan the whole housing to well.. but still only really useful thing with housing atm is gardening so need some other stuff involved with housing aswell :(

I do agree with you, but considering we know the next xpac will likely have to do with the Sea it makes sense that this is something they'd hold onto since it fits that theme.

IDK about important, but I think it would be amazing if we could design and create our own gear using the same system. Something like creating a Free Company Uniform...

lets just hope there is somethin like that in 4.0 in suikoden game based on ocean u could sail your ship around with a fishing net draggin behind had to sail certain routes just for low % to catch mermaids.. if did that with fishing in 4.0 with unlimited ocean for rares id be over the moon :P
