After the cutscene played, when I talked to the trainer NPC they told me I didn't have a chocobo registered, so the retirement didn't cancel, but I did not receive the appropriate Retired Chocobo Registration Form G1-F. The quest Like Sire Like Fledgling is not available from the Chocobokeep NPC.
