Need some advice on this craft

I am doing this simulator to try to craft a HQ Fluorite Lens for Lucis.

When I use food I have 508 Crafts 410 Control 366 CP

Use Bouillabaisse for the 43 CP boost instead.
Dump Waste Not II. Use Master's Mend for the durability instead.

For those Lucis tokens, I use Manipulation for the Durability. Waste Not is fine, but Waste Not 2 is a bad choice - it lasts too long and losing more than 1 move to reapplying a buff makes it less efficient than MM1 or Manipulation.

No problem, it's a simple fix most of the time. Because WN doesn't allow you to pick up a ToTT when it procs, and it usually DOES proc within the span of it, that's what makes Master's Mend the superior method of durability saving.

I remember your rose gold cog post from a while back. Even though most people weren't very helpful in the post, myself included. I think you can now see what many of them were talking about. If you haven't done your Master book tokens yet, I'd recommend you giving it a try. Lucis token rotation really isn't too different from it. 3 star, 4 star, lucis tokens, masterbook II tokens all have very similar rotations so if you've succeeded getting your lucis tool and you haven't got your master books yet, it could be worth a try again.

It still won't be easy, you'll lose some FC3s to RNG and that's inevitable but the advice that was given to you on that post, well.. the part of the post that WERE advice, especially from Lineage Razor and Scarebearz should make a lot more sense now.

FC3s are cheaper than ever now, if you have enough stockpile of gil to feel comfortable losing a dozen or so of them, I'd give it a go :)


I'm assuming your stats with lucis is 490/424/395 and this is what the rotation would look like, just as an example.
