Dragon Limitbreak, Heavensward Dragoon Heavy Expansion & More Questions

They also finally got what i hope to be an appropriate Limit now, which thank god. Now we're gonna see Dragoons coming out of the wood-works for everything. WoD will be them fighting over who gets to burn it (whatever I'm not a DRG so I don't care jut pointing it out)

So will each expansion focus on a Job Class? Yes yes, main scenario determines the plot line, but it would be kind of cool if they went through all the Jobs with each expansion.

BUT, does this mean the limit breaks will be redesigned for ALL the classes in the future? Summoner really needs their own, maybe the pets rain from the sky doing AoE damage or something or let them choose which full size figure to summon? Eh, just throwing it out there, but I do feel the other classes need their own independent LB that makes them unique (bard's needs to be reworked like crazy, so useless)

Don't worry everyone is gonna be DRK anyways.

I think its more then DRG that got new LB animation, think thats the only one they have showed so far. BRD is getting a DMG LB and not the healing LB anymore come 3.0

Not me I'm sticking with smn all the way. I'll level all the jobs yah but smn is always and forever my main.

I'm going to be very disappointed if DRG is the only one with a new LB.
I hope near everyone gets one...
The ones who don't really are PLD/WHM/BLM.
I don't like the idea of summoners summonin' a staff on a LB.

Normally, I'd expect the level three black mage limit break to be Meteor.
Y: Yes, even though black mage is my main, it will be a little lonely (laughs). Summoner is also a caster, but an original one will be added for it.

So Last Bastion for tanks will be specific to paladin or warrior.
Y: Yes, it'll be like that.

How will the bard's ability change?
Y: It will be changed to a DPS-type limit break. At level 3, perhaps it will look like a giant laser (laughs).

DRG is the main focus because of the negative stigma it's been given by the community. it became really noticeable once NIN came into the fray and offered their combos which required no positional locations to execute aside from Sneak Attack and Trick attack. However it was because of this that DRG turned into even more of an lolDRG of the XI era. What made things even worse for DRGs was they had lower magical defense compared to other jobs so when it came to coil their defenses couldn't' handle the magical dmg being dealt to them and they were shunned from coil because of their naturally lower magical defense.

They patched away both issues but it still left a negative taste towards DRGs and all this focus on DRG in 3.0 is to hype them back up to the Kain levels of interest rather than being seen as a joke job that isn't worth the time compared to other DD roles.
