I play FFXIV currently and have no problems running it. Yet, when I go to run the Heavensward Benchmark it does not run at all. The Benchmark shuts down automatically and returns to "character creation" and "start" window. Any suggestion as to why this is happening?
I'm seeing the same issue ... The benchmark launches and no matter how I tweak the settings if I enter character creation or start the benchmark crashes.
PLEASE help!!!!
Won't even start and my computer meets the stated requirements.
The generated file has a typo:
[EVN]
REGION=1
LAUNGUAGE=1 <<<< has a typo
Maybe it can't properly run the check because of that?

Things tried:
Ran as Admin and not; Also attempted with and without firewall/antivirus
Redownloaded, reunzipped, reinstalled FFXIV Benchmark
Redownloaded, reinstalled Directx 9c & 11
Checked video driver with NVIDIA
Downgraded video settings to match minimum
Rebooted numerous times
Windows Update
Deleted ini; corrected ini

Getting the same issue here, it'll ask if I want to run the application, then just reload the launcher. The strange thing is it worked the first time I used it, but then when I went to increase the settings, it failed, and continued to fail when I changed it back to the settings it failed at the first time.
Edit: Rebooted, everything works now.

When I download the zip file for the benchmark, all I'm getting is an empty zip folder. Am I missing something?

I downloaded the zip file and extracted it onto my computer however when I go to run the application nothing comes up, nothing happens. Can someone help me with this?
