Normal Mode Alexander = CT level?

If I read right this is gonna be like a more approachable raid than your average Coil of Bahamut? If it is so I am pleased due to the fact that people without static will be able more than willing to join a pf from the get go :-). It seems that Yoship has actually took on board the million of threads we have in here regarding making coil a bit more staticless friendly.

How is the loot system gonna work to compare to Savage?

No, it'll be closer to Coil with Echo. They'd piss off a ton of people if they made it have absolutely zero skill curve like the 24-man raids

Oh that's good because the community seems ALOT more active with this echo business. Last night in my server we reached a total of 21 T10/T11/T12 farm parties and clear parties whereas before echo PF was only all about Alex fates / DD / T9 farm and clear And pony farm.

This past weekend they confirmed Alexandar normal will be able to be beaten in a day or two.

Alexandar Normal loot and Alexandar Savage loot will be different tiers of items. Normal mode will work on a WoD system where you can take 1 drop per week. Savage we don't know the details of, other than "similar to the new primals token system but not identical".

Normal is basically your story mode. Savage is the new top-tier raid.

Well if it's a drop per week as CT sounds ace and if Savage is 2 drops that's ok to me plus I know people that goes for weeks and weeks without loot. So hardly inferior lol

This is not the case. Alex Normal and Alex Savage will be 2 different tiers of items. Likely 10 or 20 item levels more on the savage gear depending on how they are scaling ilvl in heavensward.

To be precise, I think it'll be like the early turns in SCOB with nerfs/echo. Comparable with LFR in WoW, which any pug can beat.

So you saying that Alex savage will be like SCOB but with actual rewards? And better? unlike SCOB where you only get a pointless title?

That's ok to you? Like what, gonna have a problem if normal mode alex drops i140 and savage drops i150/i160?
