Suggestion: regarding cleric stance.

Hi,

I am writing this thread to discuss how we could change healer utility without making it "OP", but make it useful and fun.

Cleric stance was a tool that made SCH and WHM skill cap high, seperating your average healer from a more versatile one who aided the team in multiple ways, but if used wrong could be punished by stunning while they were in it and killing them while they have bad heals.

I dont think it should have been removed, I propose one of the following ^^:

-give it a longer cooldown to make it easier to punish and harder to use
-make a pvp skill equivalent that works like cleric stance but has a set duration
-make our dps spells work off mind in pvp making us not benefit from the extra cleric stance damage but make them scale useful
-put int on our pvp gear.

I find it a bit crap as a healer main that i cant take part in drone achievements very easily, that I am forced to play another job when my party usually would prefer me as healer as an example.

I loved healer pre nerf in PvP, I understand some of the nerfs but i dont think healer damage should be this bad lol... Make it fun, make it difficult to use whilst healing.

Something would be a better alternative to taking cleric stance away altogether. I never realized how pathetic Scholar damage without CS is until I went to the Wolf's Den Pier and was using the target practice dummies and ended up casting my Scholar DOT's on them without CS (since its disabled to replicate the PVP environment as far as our actions go and they did like nothing. Maybe being able to click them on and off was OP... but it sure was nice when a paladin and monk tried to gank me on my mount solo and I dismounted and killed both of them.

Having something like Cleric Stance, even a PVP equivalent that was more restrictive, would at least let healers take part in what the game mode was designed for more and benefit from the achievements and such, they're kind of left in the cold. Every job comes with risk... melees risk running into burst range at the wrong time, ranged people risk getting their LB interrupted, for a healer to risk their healing potency situationally would make things more interesting. What's the worst that could happen, Slaughter mode becomes somehow imbalanced, or people stop playing Secure? Oh right damage is already done on that front.

I'm glad to see you agree! I can find it frustrating that a healer can just now be targeted on there own by ninjas and have no choice but to slowly get away rather than punish someone so silly for taking on a character who has 8 players worth of healing utility on there own. It's so easy to take a healer down in a team fight if you do it right, catching them in cleric makes it that much more punishable, now we just heal and run away rather than take risks which was a much funner playstyle.

Then again I find the nerf (as it is now) as silly as the free GC queue times and Slaughter, and making Wolves Den undoable unless you're win trading etc. :< xD Just out of curiousity do the Developers.. or moderators everrrr reply to PvP threads?

Nope they don't. It seems like they created site so they read feedbacks but they don't even check on it.
