Sometimes i don't see my debuffs on the target?

So I've noticed lately after i started playing summoner a lot more.
Sometimes when I put my DoT's on a target they don't show up the target which makes it really difficult to know which DoT's i have casted on the target and when to re-cast them as they are about to run out.

Why does this happen, is it a known issue and is there a way to fix it?

There are a limited amount of debuffs allowed on a boss.

So that means I'm not doing my damage? wow that really sucks, guess i should play a class without DoT's then.

Good luck finding a class without dots.

The dots are there but theres only 2 bars allowed to be shown, if you use fester you still get full damage. Hopefully they fix it soon to filter out other ppl dots or something. Or maybe stop giving every single class dots iono.

There's a UI option to show your Debuffs only or show your's at the top of the list; something like that... I don't have a screenshot at the moment, but the option is there for PC users and I would assume PS4/3 users too.

Well hopefully one day they will set all the GOOD ui options as default. Seems like all the default options are terrible. I do get tired of tweaking everything.

They are working but you don't see it. It usually happens in the 24 player raids or in big hunts. The dot is bugged till the duration wears off, so if you refresh it you still wont see it. Just wait for them to expire and then when you put them up again you will see them. It's poor design...

I know, there is an option to only show your own DoT's, but even with that enabled you still sometimes don't see your own DoT's. I really hope this is something they have fixed for the expansion.

There's a limit of 60 active buff/debuffs on any given target, only the first 30 viewable at a time. Any status effects placed in the 31-60 range are stuck there until their duration completely drops off. Refreshing it keeps it in that hidden state.

Your DoT's aren't getting resisted? Did you confirm that they were effective in the battle log?

If you confirm that the DoT is applied via Battle log and it's not showing on the mob info bar, then that would be a bug. (especially if you have the option to show only your debuffs) And I'm assuming you're in a normal battle and not one of those zerg hunt situations. Hehe... (in which Kaisha's reply applies in those cases of buff 31 - 60)
