The Only Legitimate "Nerf" T13 Will Ever Get

If our speculations are correct and that Patch 2.56 may bring in possible nerfs to FCoBs mechanics and add a set percentage of Echo, this is the one thing I would be okay with SE doing to T13:

• The spawn conditions for the Shadow of Meracydia has been adjusted.

T5 only had the HP of the snakes nerfed if I recall correctly, and T9 never got nerfed. Not expecting anything from 13 what-so-ever.

Not really sure why people care so much about the Shadow. If you have the DPS to push it early, you can just burn the third one along with the regular adds.

Shadows are the ones that spawn during Phase 2 of T13, right? If that's the case, you could be right that they might change the script timer so that people don't get screwed trying to handle an add during divebombs (Right now groups stop their DPS to be safe and make sure it deads before pushing bahamut)

I do think the only thing they'll add to 13 is echo... and even then, I hope they don't add echo. The fight's amazing and a great climax as it is.

And deal with it during Divebombs? That's very risky and would mess things up.

And according to the patch notes, it looks like we won't see that happening ever again. Now there's no need to hold DPS to play it on the safe side.

Nice call, a true farmer would've called it and actually appreciated it. Only an elitist butt would argue against this :P

I'm so thankful for this change. We already had to hold dps during phase 2 because of the third add. I was NOT looking forward to standing around and twiddling my thumbs while waiting for it to spawn.

Come to think of it, it's less of a nerf, but more of a helper for people who already farm this. We already push bahamut with a shadow up sometimes (just with dots ticking).... With 10% echo, he's gonna be pushed way before that shadow would have even spawned anyway. Imagine if it spawned after he started to push, that would suck lol
