A variety of input problems

I have a variety of problems both with keyboard & mouse support as well as gamepad support. I have already submitted an in game bug report last year but so far nothing has happend, instead the problems have gotten worse. FFXIV often seems to forget all connected controllers which makes my controller stop responding randopmly in game. this happens on multiple controllers, both wired and with a cable from different manufacturers. If i play with mouse and keaboard isntead the chat randomly pops open and my alt+3 keybinding and me moving forward results in "aaaaaa444444" being posted in the input field of the chat instead of me moving forward and executing the alt+4 action.

Steps:
1. Play game like usual, set up some keybindings for alt+1...
2.suddenly the controller stops working and the device list is empty. sometimes it works again after a few seconds sometimes you have to restart the game
3. If not on the controller sometimes aaaaa11111 will get entered in the chat instead of moving forward and executing the alt+1 action

Problems with any of these devices appear ONLY in FFXIV. Any other game works fine. I can also spend hours pressing the alt+1 key on my mouse in wordpad without an 1 ever being entered there.
