Optional Items

Sup guys. Just started the game about two weeks ago and I'm loving it so far. Safe to say I got a couple of questions since I'm learning as I go. Anyways, I happened to stumble upon the "Optional Items" in the Mog Station and I was wondering if the items in there are permanently available. Will they be taken down some time in the future? That Sleipnir mount and those minions look too good to pass up lol. :D

I think they will be in there permanently. Sleipnir has been there for a long time.

There permanently there and they would keep on adding more item as we go on.

It should also be mentioned that when you do purchase them, they're available account wide not just per character. So if you buy them now and you make an alt a few months down the road (for whatever reason) they would have access to all the items as well. It's mailed to you in-game.

When I purchased a minion I had to choose which character it went to. It's not account wide and it will not go to a newly created character. It's a one time purchase which you will have to make for each character you want them on.

As for items you use codes to get from art-books and soundtracks. Those codes are for your entire account and will go to any newly created characters.

Fantasia Potions, Metallic Dyes, and Minions are by character, not accountwide.

I've not purchased any of the vanity gear because I was active during those seasonal events, so I'm unsure about that. The Slepnir mount *is* accountwide though.

I think if they are going to let us know if they are going to stop selling something like the Mount.

The seasonal glamour gear is per character too. I wasn't here for last year's Little Ladies so i ended up having to buy the blossom earrings for both my main and alt separately.
